Ni Wayan Sariani, his wife, Ni Wayan Subrate, and other people with a #disability from Karangasem in East Bali, have recently received vital Nazava water #filters so they can access safe drinking water.
People living in remote parts of Bali find it challenging to source clean water. It’s especially difficult for a person with a disability to travel and access clean water to drink or cook. They then either have to collect and boil water to make it safe to drink or buy gallons of it for home use. These are costly and time-consuming methods.
The Nazava filters purify water quickly and eliminate bacteria, viruses and parasites, as well as removing the health risks related to drinking contaminated water. Thanks to Kopernik and the Disability Initiative Grant (supported by the Australian Government) for funding the project.
